“As a portrait artist, I am able to capture unique personality and characteristics of the subjects I paint as I explore textures through strokes of the painted surface and fine details of the imagery. A love of people and a deep interest in the human experience is relevant in my work. My experience with fine pencil drawings and large-scale oil paintings have increased my interest in exploring new ways to capture life in still imagery.
